📢 This Diabetic Clean-Coached Himself to Health
Jason Saggs was in crisis after 54 years of living with Type 1 diabetes. But within months, his A1C dropped to non-diabetic levels, his retinopathy reversed, and he'd stopped drinking and taking drugs entirely. He says it's because he learned to coach himself using Clean Language questions.
Now his story is going to be shared at a major US conference as part of a drive to introduce Clean Language to diabetes care providers and educators.
This Diabetic Clean-Coached Himself to Health
Jason Saggs was in crisis. 54 years of living with Type 1 diabetes. High blood sugars were rotting his body slowly, dopamine deficiency had driven him to drugs and alcohol, and diabetic retinopathy was stealing his sight. Then, sitting in a clinic last April, he asked himself "What will happen if you continue to do that?" The answer changed everything.
⚡#CleanInThe Wild: Dutch Mental Health Congress
Saskie Dorman, Madelon Sinnige and Michael Oskam ran a Clean Language workshop at the national congress of the Dutch Association of Mental Health and Addiction Care.
Saskie shared experiences from her work in palliative care in the UK, explaining how Clean Language can create connection and reveal what really matters to someone – even when communication seems difficult.
And participants facilitated each other, exploring their qualities, using the core Clean questions: what kind of..?, anything else about..? and what would you like to have happen?
Feedback included: “How much I learned about myself, just in this short exercise!” and “This makes it so clear how important it is to keep my thoughts and assumptions out of the conversation.”
⚡#CleanInThe Wild: Clean and EFT
Daniel Sonntag, who featured on my YouTube channel recently, has launched a new website featuring his blend of Clean Language with Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
📢 The Worst Way To Introduce Clean?
Cathy Hasty says: “Clean Language is like a dish that tastes better than it looks. When I insert a little spot of Clean Language with people in normal conversation, they rarely notice yet I feel them open up and become curious about their own experience. It feels magical.”
Her latest article sets out to explain, in detail, what Clean Language is.

🎓 Create Compelling Clean Experiences
Picture this: You're in a meeting, trying to explain why Clean Language could change everything.
You talk about the questions, the philosophy, the history, the benefits. People seem interested, but somehow nothing changes. Sound familiar?
Now imagine walking into that same meeting and saying, "Let me show you..."
Within minutes, the room has shifted.
People are leaning forward, asking "What just happened?" and "How do I learn more?"
That's the power of experience over explanation - and it's exactly what you'll master in this intensive half day training with me and Steve McCann.
